Ancient North Yarmouth Bathroom
Removing the floor of this bathroom was more like an archeological dig than a home renovation. With each layer we went back into time in intervals of half-centuries. Just above the soil surface eroded cast iron pipes barely clung to the hand-hewn timbers (perhaps salvaged from an even older home or barn).
